Just for kicks, I built a simple web scraper to pull the data on doge.gov/savings so I could tally the numbers provided. DOGE currently claims they've saved about $55B. But if you add the rows up, it's more like $7B.

Unless they're hiding data re: $48B, this is sloppy work on their part.

Trump claims USAID is bankrupting America—it’s less than 1% of the budget. Meanwhile, the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, is gutting the largest food aid provider. He could end world hunger & still be the richest man alive. But he won’t.
