Yeah it’s fortuitous for sure!

Just a heads up, tomorrow’s video is a (bad) tour of my Nerd Vault! Long overdue!

I’m financially able, fortunately, so I’m doing what I can. My brother lives 3 minutes away from them so he does most of the legwork and I pay the bills hah

He’s getting good care at the facility he is at but we all know things will continue to deteriorate.

My dad is slowly degenerating. Not remembering the grandkids very well any more. But he still seems reasonably content. Mom is just slower. I convinced her to get once-a-week housecleaning help for the things she can’t really do any more, which is good.

For sure. The whole “Jack up prices then offer a discount” thing has been a convention staple for decades. I’m sure it’s rampant on eBay too

He brought this upon himself. Hah

Just going to Texas for my mom’s 80th birthday :)

Final update (hopefully). Seller took it down again and relisted it as an auction with a $4.99 starting bid. I’m going to put a lowball bid on it (and maybe other stuff said seller is selling) just out of spite

Did three more. I’m good on those until the end of the month. Now to get a couple ahead on the longer form videos

Hah no. I have to have new stuff to keep the channel going. I’ll run out of long-form video ideas eventually I would suspect!

I’ve done six Quick Flip videos today to try to get a little ahead, and I might try to do a couple more. Still haven’t duplicated a title yet

I’ve got a trip coming up so want to make sure I have stuff in the bag before then

The positive message was, well, a positive. I liked Mr Terrific—a saving grace. Superman was portrayed decently. But I thought the plot was ghastly, and as with most DC films they were just trying “too hard” and it comes across as forced. And I couldn’t stand Lex one bit.

That’s fabulous, and what an unusual one to have left. When I’m working on full runs, I always wonder what that last elusive one will be (multi-thousand dollar books aside)

Sigh. I am truly starting to think I’m an oddball.

I FINALLY got to see Superman today and I thought it was an epic-level catastrophe.

I moved all of them on except this one. Reprint issues are at or near the top of my list to thin out

Longer term plans is to do a video that focuses just on the westerns. I’m just not sure how to frame it yet

That part I haven’t decided yet. But surely there will be more than one Rawhide flip! :)

Thanks! That really nice to hear! I’m curious what you think differentiates it from the hundreds of other comics channels out there. I’m trying hard to find gaps in the existing content

I try to match things up. Looking forward to the first Rawhide Kid flip…you can probably guess what I’m hoping to use :)
