US politics and media in a nutshell:
Much of the center left denounced far left social media posts and student organization statements, the center right increasingly acquiesced to a far right insurrectionist liar as Speaker, and the main takeaway is the left needs to do more to police its extremes.

American politicians - including the President - should be asked to condemn anti-Muslim and anti-Palestinian violence in the same way they've been expected to condemn Hamas.
