I had an urgent DIY job to do today.
I removed the faulty item, purchased the correct replacement part and fitted it properly without any mistakes or hassle along the way.
Without a doubt the first time I have managed that in my entire 42 years on this planet.

Personally think Walter was dealt a bad hand, but undeniable he played it very badly. He will point to bad luck with injuries and poor finishing.
Ultimately though, he paid the price for being welded to a way of playing that was hard to play, but easy to play against.

Impossible to argue that a change in management isn’t necessary now.
My worry is that this squad is nowhere near the standard required at this level, whoever is in charge.
The slim hope is they’ve downed tools because they aren’t having Walter either.

On a similar theme to you, the closest I came to missing another was the Whitby 8-4 game. I still went with my mum at that time, but she was ill and couldn’t go. I only decided to go on my own last minute.

Probably told you this before but from my first season as a pass holder for the 91/92 season and until they left, I only missed one first team game at Boothferry Park.
Was for a good reason but still slightly irks me I didn’t do the full set.
