The bigger issue for me would be that the e-ink screen is so unresponsive, the typing lag makes it nearly impossible to correct as you type.

Oh I see. No, they don't have arrow keys, but you can use keyboard shortcuts to navigate around the text to find a new insertion/deletion point. But yeah the idea is you just type, and edit later. Potentially useful for prose, less for formatted docs like scripts.

Yeah. I get the market is probably quite small, but it sure as hell is going to stay small at that price. But it's also so outrageous, I suspect something dodgy behind the scenes, aside from blatant profiteering.

Periodically I think I should get a Freewrite for distraction-fee writing and then I remember their pricing is a total scam.
