Yes, agree. But they don't require you to be opposed to everything they are before they welcome you in.

E.g. they welcome you in if you oppose regulation on crypto even if you are pro-choice.

This is how they won the votes of centrists. We pushed them away, they welcomed them in.

When a Trump supporter begins to question their support calling them an idiot for not seeing it sooner only drives them back to Trump.

We should encourage their skepticism. Agree with their newfound truth. Commiserate with them over what the GOP is doing. Slowly, they will throw away their red hat.
