It’s been months since I’ve drawn anything 🫠, but I found these old Mortifan concepts on my IPad.

I love this pigeon-loving, ghost-like, mortician. He’s more of a symbolic, character in Malignant Remedy, and tends to appear during the most dire moments.

Lil’ update:

I’m taking a break from social media to write the scripts for Malignant Remedy and GrímR of Nowither. I’m about halfway into one, and roughly a quarter into the other. They’re definitely going to require loads of editing, but I will be back when I get closer to the drawing stage! 🫡✌️🪂

Ohh, that’s Dietre (a.k.a. Deets)! She’s another morgai (reaper) like GrimR, only her bird is the white vulture. She and GrimR are siblings by bond, but their dynamic is dysfunctional. Her first concept was a man many years ago, so I’ve only drawn this redesign around three times so far 😅💚

I - uh - forgot how to draw. So - uh - have some half-assed Sverenne scribbles while I try to recollect the basics. 🥲

My friend, Ruth, and I were choreographing a possible fight scene between Urokmura and a mist dragon. I just like the idea of a dragon vaporizing and reforming at will. But imagine having to slay this colossal, serpentine beast in ghostly hummocks of fog.

Urokmura and his somewhat scary mother, the Queen Mother of the Sienese dragons. The reason she looks younger than him is because she has more emotional control than he does. It’s a part of mastering dragon magic.

Started with a sketch of Mortifan, one of Woxardam’s undertakers. He’s a bit of a folk hero, rumoured to be a ghost for he keeps to himself, speaks cryptically, and is always accompanied by a flock of pigeons.

Did you ever get overwhelmed by it? It looks like a lot of art trades to keep track of, but I hear you don't always have to retaliate with a drawing, so that's kinda nice.

Ohhhh, that would be neat! I would love to do ArtFight one year but I still have regular art trades to finish xD. Still, it would be cool to see your interpretation of other people's characters, and to see Randy and AJ drawn in other styles.
