- Protection of human rights of workers that are paid pennies for long hours of reviewing and correcting training material and data
- Safety measures limiting light pollution, air pollution and energy usage of genAI server and training centres

I think most of the "it's inevitable" crowd is rather simply cynical and not believing any change is possible. And some are scared they will be seen as lame paranoics if they oppose AI

Also on a bigger scale even: - some protection against deepfakes, revenge porn and using AI generated content with actual people in nefarious ways

- Clear labelling of content that is AI made and media that used AI in production
- Training models on paid data, recompensation of artists whose creations are used
- Default OPT OUT of data scraping on sites, not OPT In
- ability to disable AI companions, overviews and other functions

Explaining why not to use to those who listen, and shaming those who don't are means of making the biggest numbers we can not use the tools - because their makers count on wide adoption and simply getting people dependent on them.

There's been a few discussions on this in the horse subreddit recently so let's turn that into a PSA: if you encounter horses and riders outside, you should not behave like a predator.

If you're on a bicycle with riders ahead, dismounting and following quietly is probably the worst you can do 😅
