Thanks! I love the idea of hand imagery on swords so a design connected to hands and arms pain had to have this element!

Concept art page for a cursed sword design based on the feeling of inflammation and pain I get if I overwork my arms: the stiffness of the hands aa if it were from metal or rock along with burning pain as if acid was flowing through my veins and muscles. The design draws from it, it has a handle that's sharp and painful to hold, a bronze decorative flexed hand on the blade and brightly colored fluid drips all over the sword.

With exercise I don't usually get flare ups of inflammation in my hands anymore, but I did accidentally strain myself once last year and while suffering not being able to draw I conjured an idea of a design based on the pain I felt.

The idea is the blade is powerful, but very uncomfortable to wield for a long time. It's curse curses the bearer, but also doesn't allow to let go of it easily!

Here’s some sketches exploring one of my ideas for the creature from “The Terror” by Dan Simmons, and how I imagined it could work as a supernatural element while still able to be mistaken for a polar bear at a glance or in the distance~

I'm looking very respectfully at that naga/medusa character. Her shapes are so satisfying, with their volume and weight, feel very real, and the pose perfectly encapsulates confidence in her body

It's been kind of bothering me actually how Toothless and night fury's in general don't fit in with the rest of the dragons... so I'm trying to redesign him just a bit.

Oh my I adore that fullbody pose! I always find it difficult to interestingly fit a dragon on a page, so it's clear but also the wings don't just cover everything, you nailed it!

I started thinking of random scenes of another fic, writing dialogue in my head and caught myself saying the lines out loud again. I do not wonder why there's a whole subset of lovecraftian mythos dedicated to madness of artists.

If you ask other people for help with choosing and you dislike what they choose, they still helped you. They helped you identify which one you don't actually want to do and are free to do the opposite.
