Playing Scattergories, someone lists Wedonttalkaboutems and I explain with seriousness that we don't talk about them or at the very least don't call them by name and my friend's rescued Mormon boyfriend goes "Well at least they stay in their area in Appalachia."

Playing Scattergories and explaining I often have dreams of going into people's collectible-filled garages trying to steal as many things as I can, and my friend's rescued Mormon boyfriend says "You really are Native, aren't you?"

Really enjoyed Christopher Tyng's attempt at Pacific Rim styled/inspired background music, though. 🙇‍♂️

Watched the first two episodes of the new #Futurama season and I gotta say that I'm really disappointed that the episode with a Pacific Rim parody scene (AND guest starring Guillermo del Toro!) was so flat. My favorite cartoon referencing my favorite movie and I hardly cracked a smile at it.

It's really nuts how characters INCREDIBLY similar to my friend and I's OCs have cropped up in popular media the last few years. I actually had to research who made one that's an itch/.io game because I had suspicions that it was someone we both previously knew 😬 (it isn't, thankfully.)
