There’s a lot going on. In my head and in my body. I’m anxious and peaceful at the same time. Not sure how to describe how I’m feeling. Thank you for reading this far. ❤️‍🩹

So I’m a heart transplant recipient. Which means I’m immuno compromised through medication. I had a 15% chance of my body not rejecting my heart and seeing 2041. I just tested positive for covid for the first time. So who knows what my chances are now?

Just a few days ago, I met a Disney cast member who recognized the ace flag on my glasses and my ring. They lit up and said, “It’s so great to see ace representation!” I was shocked. We talked, turns out they’re ace as well. We ended up making each others’ day. Aces in the wild. 💜🤍🩶🖤

Today is my last day of “logging out” of Meta for the week. With my experiences here and on Substack, I’m kind of questioning if I should log back in tomorrow.

All the folx I’ll be fighting beside, supporting, and counting on for the next four years and beyond.

I swear I’m not watching. I’m also off Meta this week. But floating through the Bsky, I’m seeing that there are public admissions to Melon helping Felon steal the election? The next few weeks will tell me if I’ve been voting on the better side, or if it’s the start of a class revolution.

There is nothing more biting today than my loved ones applauding and cheering. Going NC is not what I want. I live far away, so we’re already LC. I think this is something that I need to reconcile within myself. It’s hard to think that things are forever changed now.

May we be leavened with community and infinite hope!

More clarity: I’m realizing that religion uses tactics like fear (death), binaries (good/evil), and extremism to maintain the flock. When used outside of religion, these are bad faith tactics. But in the context of religion, they’re just dogma. That’s the issue.

Not unless they travel through a fallopian tube.
