Until about 15 years ago all it would take was mentioning the TIO to get an issue resolved. Around then it changed. You needed to lodge a complaint and contact the telco's TIO complaints team. More recently they DGAF. They know many won't follow it through to the end. It's become a numbers game.

That used to be the case. Wait times are now about 10 weeks for a case officer to look at complaints. Telcos a lot less interested in resolving issues because they know the TIO has become dysfunctional.

Thanks for the reminder that I need to follow up on the $13 refund they agreed to issue on multiple occasions but never did. I've wasted hours on it, but I want my money back!
