The Rocky Mountains have gotten near-average snow this year. So, why are forecasts for Lake Powell inflows so low? Winter snowpack in the Upper Colorado River Basin states — Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming — determines how much water will flow into Lake Powell this spring.

Perhaps more of me will re-emerge in 2025!

The Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Lake Powell are in an area of the Southwest that is definitely as risk of being turned into wasteland under the incoming administration.
