Planet rock has been playing out the top 500 rock songs of all time, as voted by their listeners. They started at 7am on Monday and have just finished. Apparently there was only two votes between the top two on the list.

Listening to Planet Rock top 500 rock songs of all time. Back in the day I thought Telegraph Road by Dire Straits was an extended dirge of a listen. Forty odd years later I am quite prepared to say I was wrong in my opinion. It is an epic track, both in length and brilliance.
