The members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) fired this week have published, on average, nearly five times more papers mentioning vaccines or vaccination in the title or abstract than their newly appointed replacements, half of whom have not published on the topic at all.

That's basically what I mean. Vaccines have changed society so much that the current generation has no idea what life was like before them, can't visualize that way of living, and doesn't understand the risk of returning to those days.
