The new Florence + The Machine single 'Everybody Scream' sounds like a lost track from Queen's 'Flash Gordon' soundtrack.

Every time I see this film referenced, my brain still breaks a little at the Buck Henry and Mike Nichols credits.

It would be such a shame if this building, which completely ruined the skyline of New York City, had to be pulled down. It would just break my heart, which is full of deeply motivated loathing for this building

I can confirm, having just paid $3 for (sigh) Howdy: CHINA BEACH is now streaming via Roku’s new subscription service. And it looks good! The Supremes song that’s the show’s theme—“Reflections”—has been replaced by a sound-alike, but at least this show is finally streaming.

Not a bad idea! There was an ep of THE AMERICANS that panned across the living room at night and the station on the TV signed off and went to bars or snow and it made me smile.

I love me a 4K disc with all the extras but the Criterion Channel is the thing I would have killed to have in my house when I was 16
