This game is just so baffling to me. I’m not one to shit on games. I usually focus on the positive and celebrate what I loved rather than rant and rave about what I hated but this game has broken me. It’s frustrating at every turn, especially if that turn involves moving the camera in build mode.

I’m about 20 hours into tears of the kingdom and honestly I have no idea how any of you thought it could have even come close to beating BG3 for game of the year. It’s absolute turbo ass. Worst experience I’ve ever had in a Zelda game and I’ve finished Skyward Sword WITH motion controls enabled.

Sitting in the crew gym alone with my earbuds in. Having a great chill time. Leave it to a straight man to walk in, immediately Bluetooth to the speakers, and blare the worst music imaginable.

And honestly, in even simpler terms: people who just let me talk. I could not tell you the last time I was able to actually get a thought out without being cut off.

My parents came on a cruise this last week and during that time I realized what has been truly missing from this contract: people who find me funny and genuinely care what I have to say.

Spent most of the day strutting around in my favorite outfit while having an incredible hair day. First time I think I’ve actually experienced gender euphoria without makeup on. We call that growth.

If she were doing near constant aerial gymnastics or inverting, that’s a different story entirely. But honestly the hardest part about singing while flying is trying to stay facing forward.

This is not to discredit her performance, she killed it. I’ve just seen multiple posts from singers being like “it’s insane that she is doing that without being able to support and feel grounded” and those are valid concerns, but the harness gives you support. Your core doesn’t do much extra work.

As someone who does an aerial routine while singing on a weekly basis, I feel like I’m one of the few people qualified to talk about Cynthia flying. It’s impressive, but I swear to you singing in a harness isn’t much different than being on the ground. The challenges are mental rather than physical.

Finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 today and my two cents is that I don’t think any of these people should be allowed to paint.

Pet peeve. If you’re out of the alternative milk that I ask for, tell me that and let me choose from what you do have. I just ordered an oat milk latte, fully saw the barista use almond milk, said “I asked for oat,” was THEN told “we’re out of oat.” That would have been nice to know. I’ll take soy.

I’m gonna say something controversial yet brave. I enjoy Cynthia Erivo’s defying gravity riff FOR HER. I don’t think it should become the standard riff that people use at the end of the song.
