Had my first breakdown of the contract today. 6 months in, 2 months to go. Surprised it took this long.

Since I finally finished Critical Role campaign 3, and 4 is just starting up, I’ve gone back to watch campaign 1 and can I say that Matt Mercer’s consistent use of Skyrim music is putting intrusive thoughts into my head…

Pet peeve. If you’re out of the alternative milk that I ask for, tell me that and let me choose from what you do have. I just ordered an oat milk latte, fully saw the barista use almond milk, said “I asked for oat,” was THEN told “we’re out of oat.” That would have been nice to know. I’ll take soy.

I’m gonna say something controversial yet brave. I enjoy Cynthia Erivo’s defying gravity riff FOR HER. I don’t think it should become the standard riff that people use at the end of the song.

One thing the Kimmel stuff made clear is that the reason conservatives have such an easy time accepting fascism is that they were already operating under the assumption that the president had complete control over the country.

Work was long and hard today… this particular show should never be performed without all four vocalists, and due to circumstances beyond our control we had to go on with only three. Twas such a headache to re-block, anxiety inducing to perform, and exhausting as we all had to sing extra. V tired.

Had an incredible hair day and I will not shut up about it

Spending more time in the gym, trying to build my upper body. For the longest time I idealized being waifish, but lately I feel as a visibly queer person it would do me good in the current political environment to look more like someone you don’t want to fuck with.

I danced too hard at the Latin party and my skeleton necklace lost a leg.

And with that I have officially completed my first nuzlocke! Congrats to Brenda the Mamoswine (MVP for sure) and Mephisto the Houndoom for making it through the meat grinder that is Cynthia. We had a few close calls but through the power of friendship we prevailed.

Xeric was instrumental in Cynthia’s downfall. Their sturdy ability guaranteed they survived an earthquake from Garchomp so they could put up Reflect, allowing Brenda the Mamoswine to survive long enough to take out Garchomp with two Ice Fangs.

RIP to Toxisha the Toxicroak, Evrae the Gyarados, and Xeric the Magneton. All three gave their lives valiantly against Cynthia’s onslaught. Toxicroak fell to Gastrodon, but her toxic was instrumental. Gyarados fell to poison damage after taking out Milotic.

RIP to Allura the Gardevoir. Once again one shotted by a Medicham. This time it was Lucian’s. It was my fault. I knew I outsped but I forgot that Girafarig had put up trick room which still had one turn left. Garde was my answer to a lot of Cynthia’s team… good luck me.

RIP to Jerry the Pikachu. Taken out by a critical night slash from Cyrus’ Honchkrow. You hate to see it.

RIP Sprout the Torterra and Koromaru the Lucario. Both fell valiantly against Candace’s Medicham. I dunno if she is aware but she is an ICE gym leader. Why the hell did they give her that psychic/fighting monstrosity.

RIP to Tate the Meditite. We were so close to greatness. She met her end at the hands of Byron’s Steelix in the Canalave Gym. Despite being +4 defense she was one shot by a non critical Gyro Ball. This one hurt. She fought valiantly through the whole gym. My hubris got her killed.

RIP to Blitzen the Luxray. He met his end valiantly in the Hearthome Gym to Fantina’a Mismagius. The entire team was in dire straits due to a barrage of Sludge Bombs from her Gengar. Due to his nature he was outsped by Mismagius and fell to a critical Dazzling Gleam.

RIP to Hyacinth the Budew. She met her untimely end at the hands of a Gyarados southwest of Pastoria city. The plan was to paralyze and switch, and she got the paralysis off but unfortunately her fate was sealed by a critical Ice Fang.

RIP to Olberic the Cranidos. He met his untimely end at the hands of a Sudowoodo in the Cafe by the gaggle of psyduck blocking the road to Celestic town. He got trapped in by Block and was one shot by a critical Hammer Arm.

Started a nuzlocke of Brilliant Diamond yesterday. Here’s a graveyard thread of those who are lost along the way.

Getting very close to perfecting my signature eye. Obsessed with this new silver shadow from the Wicked palette.

And like, the way they would pair up the most ridiculous characters for the lost chapters? For whatever reason you’d always have Sephiroth, THEE edgelord baddy of all time, paired up with Eiko, a literal 6 year old raised by moogles. And their interactions were funny as hell!

Unpopular opinion: I really miss Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia. It had far too many systems, the story was convoluted as hell, and at lower levels was barely a game, but I really enjoyed the endgame modes. And I miss building all my favorite FF characters. And the chibi-ish art style SLAPPED.
