I think this just deletes the app on your phone, not your actual account and data. You'll have to go to the site and "Deactivate account" for that.

Granted I wandered from Twitter because I didn't think I would continue to see truthful info. But I'm sure they think they will see truthful info. So, how do we as a society get back to a place where we actually communicate about different ideas?

For consideration: if blue voters all abandon Twitter and come over here, aren't we kind of exacerbating the overall problem of everyone having their own set of facts?
