people are not unlike tea... if you pay attention to tea when steeping, it'll come out pleasant, warm and gentle... but neglect it for a long time and it will become cold, bitter and harsh (and I suppose sometimes you just get the teabags, where it doesn't really matter)

I might be wrong, but Greenland is not the easiest to defend from a logistical perspective, if the US attacks it in earnest (unless Canada would be willing to wage a full out war, which would be catastrophic). More likely it'd be an economy war of escalating embargos, leading to mutual annihilation.

Guess we know who needs to avoid windows for the rest of their life...

So... I've worked in aerospace for a couple of years, most of it on powerplants, had 0 idea about any of this (besides the general workings). It's humbling to think how much complexity we have in our basically daily lives. Way too much for any single human being.
