RIP to a king. It says a lot that Ninja Gaiden 2004 and its sequel were two of the few games that actually rivaled DMC. They're very uneven games (and Itagaki had very uneven output) but the soul they had burned bright, and continues to do so even after his has left us.

So I do make my own sculpts sometimes and like I said before, I’ve been very partial to how Cerix looks as an Au Ra. It’s very much in the face, sculpting it just somehow really works for black characters? Does that sound right?

In any case, this is their current face. So pretty…
