@mmol thanks :) it started as just a little twig in a pot from a yard sale! I was worried it might get damaged from all the digging around it but it seems to have come through it just fine!

@EdwinG well wifi should not be an issue as these are Ethernet only (if they happen to have wifi onboard I will just turn it off. It has to live in a closet :))

Just bought one of these small Asus Ethernet routers to stand in for our Telus router (which will either will disappear, or go into Bridge mode). This should solve my NAT problems permanently.
