That was the message residents in Selsdon Vale and Forestdale sent in our community meeting today.

โชTotally agree Rowenna, itโs naive at best to think the best response to the announcement is to start a fight with teh commissioners. โฌ

Hereโs what Labourโs Spending Review means for London:
โ๏ธ NHS waiting lists reducing
โ๏ธ 10,000 kids lifted out of poverty via Free School Meals
โ๏ธ Pay rise for 140,000 Londoners
โ๏ธ Major boost to social & genuinely affordable housing

Rowenna Davis is right. Jason Perryโs project has failed
He has attempted to balance the books with huge council tax hikes, massive cuts and fire sales of our community assets and still come up short
There can be no alternative now he must stand down and allow others to do the job that he cannot.
โEvery penny to defeat Perry, every tenner for Rowennaโ.
Thanks to all the members from Croydon and from across London who joined our fundraiser! What a night. ๐ซ ๐
Great night tonight raising funds for Labour in Croydon.
Great talks and an inspirational speech from @wesstreeting
Croydon needs a mayor who puts #peoplefirst Croydon needs @RowennaDavis
Mayor Perry wants to cut our lollipop patrols. These dedicated staff keep our children safe every day, and they deserve our support.

Give this man an honour.
These are the people that make the community of Croydon. Bravo.
Attending the beacon lighting at Croydon Town Hall this evening for the 80th anniversary of VE day โ a beautiful moment of community and remembrance. I am honoured to be part of this tradition we stand together in unity.

Screen clipping of text from Croydon Council Web page for the Children's Scrutiny Committee
Residents in Croydon have waited months to learn what the Mayor is actually proposing to do in his review of the youth engagement team. Scrutiny is on Tuesday & the paperwork still hasn't been shared with the councillors on that committee.
What's he trying to hide?

I'm walking home from choir rehearsals and I see "binmaggedon" may not be so bad in the Croydon town centre as bad as other parts, but it's still rubbish, not worth the council tax we pay. Along with other council services, parks libraries etc...we need a fresh start next year.

Iโve known Rowenna for years and have always admired her energy, passion, and deep commitment to Croydon and its communities.
Her fresh ideas and people-first approach have the power to transform our borough for the better.
A major win for working families: ยฃ2bn to build 18,000 new social and affordable homes is a strong step toward tackling the housing crisis. We need secure, genuinely affordable homes, this is real progress.

Well no, you said I was celebrating it was being celebrated by the Torygraph.
That didnโt happen.
I was celebrating the policy, itโs just so happened to be written in the Telegraph.
You then mentioned moving to the right, suggesting that the policy was a right wing policy.
Care to elaborate?
