The voice already sounds great, maybe even more impressive than actually useful. The flow however is still too easy to get interrupted.
Next up, OpenAI should make it able to show you images and browse websites for you.

Wandered into a tiny plant exhibition tucked away in the Kyoto Botanical Garden. Put together by local club members. Tables full of carefully grown things and a peaceful kind of pride.

It's soooo bad, it's frustrating. Almost feels like it's on purpose, do they even use this interface themselves? Obvious flaws all around.
That moment when youโre searching for a tool to solve a specific problem โ and find an open source project that not only nails it, but does even more.
`osxphotos` by Rhet Turnbull is one of them!
I asked GPT for a diagram to show compatibility of these up and coming open social networks.

If not is there something similar I can do locally? How does it tie in with mcp in cursor?
Not sure which web-ui you mean. I've tried Open Web UI (openwebui.com). It's fine but for me as a dev I can highly recommend @lmstudio-ai.bsky.social. Way more convenient to install & manage models. Also has a chat interface built in. Give it a try if you don't have a multi tenant usecase.

Thinking about getting a Mutalk from @shiftall_globalโvoice has the highest bandwidth I have with AI, but talking to my screen all day feels awkward at home or in the office. Is this the future or just weird until we have brain-computer interfaces?
Dang, the insights from this 1979 interview with a personal computer salesperson are timeless - feeling just as fresh and relevant today as they were back then.

Further "johnsoned" my live by getting a 10.000 LUX lamp for the dark winter mornings. Was way overdue to get one here in germany.
I bought one from lumie.com. Got good ratings and the look and feel is pretty nice. Wish they would offer a wireless option though.
Home Assistant found a humidity and temperature sensor and set it up for our system automatically. Turns out my Girlfriend bought it for the bedroom. I did not know we had one. @home-assistant.io now even keeps a history of the data. Super neat.
