27.01.2025 22:25 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hey Brazil, Portugal and North America...Tune in on Jan 27th to MAX for their first telenovela, BELEZA FATAL, created, written and produced by Raphael Montes.
Raphael is known for his psychological thriller and crime novels, movies and series.
This is not your abuela's telenovela...
Congrats to Wenonah Wilms, Johnny LaZebnik, and all of the other incredibly talented writers nominated for this year's WGA Awards!!
16.01.2025 01:43 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0You see the R/B combo a lot. It definitely looks good, but you might end up feeling like you are wearing a uniform. The B/Y combo is just as sophisticated, but feels less likely to mark you as "one of a crowd."
12.04.2024 17:57 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If I may, check out the good work being done by Dear Pandemic. It's a public-facing all-female group of scientists that started during the early days of Covid. They do regular live Q&A's and now cover a pretty wide range of topics.
(Full Disclosure: My wife is a co-founder).
Very excited to see Anonymous Content and @globoplay.bsky.social bring PERFECT DAYS by Raphael Montes to the screen!

Today, why not enjoy honey-cured egg yolks with fresh sourdough crumpets?

Just suck on a Ricola and get to work, and if you die, we can probably use your body as a chair or something, which is very sustainable!"
13.02.2024 15:20 โ ๐ 761 ๐ 307 ๐ฌ 23 ๐ 5This thrill never gets old...a client's first screen credit is a thing of beauty. Wenonah is an award winning filmmaker, but S4, EP 5 of TRUE DETECTIVE is her first TV credit!!
10.02.2024 20:33 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The goose ended up staying home, but he absolutely brought more than one stuffy. The docs made sure his bunny was right there with him the whole way.
10.02.2024 02:27 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0My 9 year old has knee surgery today. He was told he could bring "one stuffy".
So.
Something like that, I bet.
Anyhow, I am gonna go ahead and call this pomagranate-cut his Persephone Pennant and call it a day.
I'm not sure. I am still trying to figure out where people are buying beige flags and why. Is it to dirty-surrender?
09.02.2024 15:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0You mean like the orange peel test or the tea bag trials.
09.02.2024 15:33 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Super stoked for clients and pals Jim Martin and Rosemary Contreras for their respective films coming out on Netflix this year, WOODY WOODPECKER GOES TO CAMP and THE CASAGRANDES MOVIE!
02.02.2024 00:40 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Time to make the crumpets.
This is attempt #1. I browned the tops slightly, which I now see was a mistake. But I didn't burn them, and they seem pretty proper otherwise.
They weren't even that hard to make! I only baked half the batch, so am very interested to see how the rest hold over.
16.01.2024 03:21 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Project Dinner Roll is a success.
Suck it, Texas Roadhouse.
Hey. Maybe have a little soup and a grilled cheese today.
You deserve it.
It worked out pretty ok! Highly recommend.

Breakfast today: Chili-crunch fried chick peas and eggs.
Moonlight over Lake Superior...
Time to cast some spells.
Old Fashioned with some candied pineberries to keep it festive.
25.12.2023 02:22 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Kind of a process, but well worth the effort...
Voila, a holiday-spiced clarified milk punch to celebrate the season!
A favorite of Benjamin Franklin and Charles Dickens, and now of mine.
I went to see it, and took my dad to see it the very next day.
He, in turn, took a group of his neighbors (ranging in age from 75-92) to see it the NEXT day.
And now a quarter of said neighbors don't speak to him any more.
And that, my friends, is the awesome social-filtering power of cinema.
Boozy eggnog jello-shots...
10.12.2023 01:25 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0That looks fantastic!
