I must get the shingles vaccine asap. I had the flu vaccine on Saturday and I was a mess on Sunday. That heavy, nasty vaccine reaction I had IS THE REASON to vaccinate. I’m now imagining how horrid flu itself would be. If I survived.

For those living with dementia, new study suggests shingles vaccine could slow the disease A new analysis of a vaccination program in Wales found that the shingles vaccine not only appeared to lower new dementia diagnoses by 20%, it also helped those who already have the disease.

I'd rather not have shingles. A couple of bad days after getting the vaccine was no big deal. Shingles may also reduce dementia risk (as studies suggest it might). That is well worth it. Dementia took my dad and I would wish that on no one.

Ennion was the first glassmaker to ‘brand’ his work by incorporating his name into the mould’s design, some 2000 years ago!
