Reached that point of #insomnia where I’m not going to lie in bed for six hours — awake and suffering — before getting a 90 minute nap and waking up to the pre-dawn glow. I’m just not going to go to bed anymore. I’m also going to delete this app off my phone. Maybe I’ll come back. #goodbye

I haven’t had a normal night’s sleep since Jan. 18 or something. I’m just getting a couple hours a night.

Trying to order a car part… how do things keep getting worse?

Door latch is fixed.

Unfortunately, I ascertained that I have a leaky heater core. It’s been dripping slowly for months. You all might be able to see that the passenger mat is damp. I will go ahead and order that. This car gets driven; I want to keep it nice.

Latch cleaned up like new. Perfect shape.

I’ll soak the old grease off the latch and re-lube since I have it out.

Been having a little fun figuring out why the Mustang driver’s door won’t latch. It’s not the latching mechanism, confounding my expectations, but instead the push-button handle. Should be a free fix, too.

We are absolutely playing. Bolt hasn’t felt this well since June.

Well he’s alive, but he’s definitely not OK. I volunteered to be a kidney donor. I haven’t been tested or anything.

Continuation of the story which no one will care about: I drove two hours in my 66 Mustang to visit my sick brother. Took that car because my other cars are broken…

Ready to head home and the driver side door won’t latch closed. I bought a bungee cord to keep it shut as I get home.

That certainly could be part of it.

I hadn’t thought of that. Maybe that’s the issue.

I get a lot less engagement on here than I thought I would. I guess, to get some attention, I need to obsess about Trump or other things I can do nothing about.

It’s actually been leaking some fluid, but I’ve been too busy with other vehicles to take the time to find out what it is. It sounds OK. I don’t think it’s the motor. Might be a slow coolant leak.

Welp, I’m driving my vintage Mustang two hours to the city of Hastings, Nebraska, to visit my brother who wound up in the hospital. I have two vehicles right now out of five that I own that are running. This 66 Mustang and a 73 International Harvester pick up. I hope this old girl gets me there.
