I mean to be fair too, it was rather obvious I was just very comfortable drawing Rin... which branching from that was tough LMAO.

I think I can find it again. It's just interesting to see and realize that I've hit a really odd burnout spiral that never fully healed, and a lot of things that I'm trying to overcome lately. We'll get there. Every step is a step.

Granted this is me picking a best out of a TON of bad art, but you can tell the difference in the energy and scribbling sense. My lines felt more confident and different, where now I think too hard and feel uncomfortable and struggle, because I don't know what I want. If that makes sense...?

Like, look at how different my sketches were. I think I had a perfect storm of new jobs that ruined my mental state, trying to upgrade tablet that was uncomfortable, STILL uncomfortable in my desk cause tablet is BIG/hands for hotkeys dont sit the same, entirely new program cause PS shat itself, etc

I think I still felt rushed in the time and like I didnt have time to PRACTICE, which is true, but it was still giving me chances to explore and have confident brush strokes. Then I could analyze it after and try to improve. I've still improved since then but feeling very stiff w/ art lately.

Man I used to sketch SO much during the ask blog days and didnt care if it was good or bad. I really, really lost that ability somewhere and I think that's caused a lot feeling rusted or awkward lately. I just need to sketch a lot, loosen up, and practice for fun.
