One of my improv groups made it to Allstate!

The top 15% of improv performers from my center of the state. 💪🏻

I do find it funny though that they call me, who lives 4 hours away. Yet they don’t ask the one that lives 20 minutes away.

I mean, she did give birth to twins in October, so it’s understandable.

parents: *got a new house phone, called me 4 hours away to help set up the directory*

me: *googles the manual*

dad: SHIT FUCK WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING????? GODDAMN TECHNOLOGY!

Grading realism-unit papers tonight. The level of writing from some of my honors kids has me genuinely in awe.

tbh, I’m a freak when reading books bc I have such a short attention span that I actively read many different books at a time.

Honestly, I genuinely really enjoy teaching. I like teaching the students and learning about their passions. But I would never ever have any of my own. I can’t imagine working for eight hours a day and then needing to go home and take care of more kids lol

I’m good with my cats.

3:20/4:25 — improv & ensemble practice for contest
4:30/8:40 — volunteered at girls & boys basketball concession stand
9:00/9:30 — grocery shopping
10:00 — tucked into bed

fuck I’m tired

forgot my book at work & it was just getting good

And it was an improv group I originally wanted to be a duo but they convinced me to let all 4 together.

Wish I would’ve gone w my gut tbh.

8/11 groups received division 1 ratings and will advance to state!

Only one of the groups I coached did not make it. 🙂‍↕️

After recent news, I officially deleted my accounts and the app. I feel so free!!!

Went out to my car today and right next to it, on the side my neighbor parks, was her full ass backpack, laptop, and wallet.

Let the apartment complex know she left it and then I would drop it off after work. This woman was literally sobbing in my arms when I gave it to her.

And maybe realistically, I should’ve reminded him multiple times the last few months? But he knew when our season started, and I’ve had conversations with him since then.

I give the schedule a year in advance. He has the date for every single fucking competition.

— emailed a month ago to remind them about it
— emailed the roster of students, 40, three weeks ago
— emailed the schedule and departure time about a week and a half ago once I received it
