That movie quote says it all, I recall that line and it has aged quite well. Hey there, all you elected officials (especially those in the US congress): DO YOUR JOB!!

I’m restricted by the character allotment to be able to tell the whole (often well documented) story. The replacement was much thinner than the average Santa and looked awful in the suit. He already had a few adult beverages and was quite tipsy. Angry (drunk?) fans booed and threw snowballs.

Let’s get the story straight once and for all: the fans were not booing Santa that day. They were booing the last minute replacement for the professional Santa who was a no-show due to the bad, snowy weather. He was too small for the costume, his beard kept falling off and HE fell off repeatedly.
