Four ushabtis of Khabekhnet (each 16.7 cm) and their box - each ushabti is 16.7 cm and made from painted limestone (1279–1213 BC). From the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Ushabtis were ancient Egyptian funerary figurines that were placed in tombs among the grave goods. Ushabtis were meant as servants for the deceased, to do manual labor in the afterlife. Inscriptions on their bodies asserted the ushabtis' readiness to answer the gods' summons to work.
