Every day I walk past multiple city employees sweeping the sidewalks and picking up garbage and it makes a noticeable difference. We have metro special police and station managers - who will call in MPD if necessary - and they actually keep the metro safe! NG is here only to intimidate.

I don't want to put down the NG for picking up trash because that's a respectable thing to do, but if we're trying to rationalize them being here to make the city safer and cleaner, just as in the case of the metro, we have city employees who already do this job and do it well.
