RIGHT?? They're so good and perfect!!

They are so cute and wonderful and can you believe that Mayo was at our vet's for six entire months without anyone showing interest?? And someone adopted and then returned Mustard???

Mayonnaise the kitten. He is lounging on the floor against a fabric cat carrier. Mayo is mostly white with a black tabby tail, black spots on his head near his ear and on the backs of his front legs, and a brown spot on his nose. There is a plethora of cat toys around him on the ground and a cat hidey house in the background.

Mustard is lying on his side getting his belly scritched by a white arm. He is a black tabby with a white belly and white socks. He is doing kitty jazz paws paws kneading the air. There is a catnip toy under his head.

Mayo and Mustard on the table by the window. Mayo is in a pyramid-shaped cat bed, with just his head poking out, looking sleepy. Mustard is lying on top of a cat bed that he could have crawled inside of like a sleeping bag; it's fuzzy and made of grey faux fur.

New kittens btw. Mayonnaise and Mustard.

Jen is holding Nala in a car. Nala is a beautiful cat with tabby markings, and her colours are brown and orange splotches. She has a white muzzle and bright green eyes and a light brown nose. Jen is grinning because this was this day Nala was discharged from the vet hospital and we thought she was doing better.

Nala is lying on her side, looking up at the camera, head towards the bottom of the frame. She is on a cat bed made from fluffy felted sheeps' wool. You can see her belly and more of her orange spots on her hind legs. She looks very comfortable because she is lying in front of a warm fireplace, which is outside of the frame.

Jen is holding Rory in a grey baby sling. Rory is a black and white cat that it mostly white. You can see just his front paw and the side of his face, which is tucked under Jen's chin while he naps. The back of Rory's head and around his eye is black but he has a stripe of white up his ear. Rory spent a lot of time in this baby sling - his baby bag - while he was undergoing palliative chemotherapy, purring all the while. It was his favorite place.

Rory is curled up on a cat bed with his front legs stuck back between his back legs so they're crossed over. You can see the black spots on his back and his legs. His nose is very pale pink and his eyes are closed. You can see under one foot; he has black spots on some of his toebeans but they are mostly pink. He is yawning and his tongue is curling up.

I don't want to go into a new year and leave behind 2024 because it was my last year with Nala and Rory.

Just a reminder that someone at @wildermyth decided to write the Shadowcat story and put that out into the world and make us feel emotions about it and some of us have lost pets recently and it hurts all the more for it.
