What I think is interesting about this article is that “visa” moved to the concrete domain and is used to explain things. Only a few years ago, it was the concept of visa that needed to be explained to the general public. Thanks, immigration discourse?..

Isn’t it weird how financing research had moved from the whim of wealthy benefactors to ‘let’s just pay people to do a job because it’s more efficient’, and now we’re tumbling right back into it with the whole grant system

What are the papers in discourse analysis that you come back to again and again? Or maybe your go-to for teaching good practice to students?
