5. Equuleus is a faint constellation in the northern sky, also called “the Little Horse.”

4. A galloping horse can reach up to 34mph - almost as fast as a car in city traffic!

3. Horses’ hooves are made of keratin, the same protein as human fingernails, and can grow about 1/4 to 3/8 inch per month.

2. Horses’ eyes are about 2 inches (5 cm) across, giving them excellent low-light vision and nearly a 360° field of view to spot predators.
