A longtime Twin Brooks resident, Mark is a military veteran who has practiced law for almost 40 years. He earned a doctorate in law at King's College in England and now works as a legal historian studying the impact of emergency legislation on civil liberties. Previously, Mark was an MLA and served as Deputy Speaker.
He has served as the Confed Hockey Bantam Director and president of Citie Ballet. A proud Ukrainian-Canadian, he's served on the board of the University of Alberta Kule Folklore Centre and the Ukrainian Pioneers Association of Alberta.
