We need to go to space but in all directions and it takes a while to emanate in all directions at once. It limits radial growth

to see where the largest observers in the universe are, look in the places where you can’t currently see anything.

accelerationism is a lie and a race toward death. life is about maintaining a steady internal tension between outward growth and a restful center. nothing that retains mass and shape can accelerate its entire body indefinitely without dissolving from heat.

novelty seeking is not necessarily about going against the mainstream but moving orthogonally to it. it’s about keeping the variance of your expected future actions high.
