Max of 3 games a week means it'd be pretty easy to designate a 'marquee matchup' for the Sunday slot.
MLR had signed a 'multi-year deal' with ESPN prior to 2025 and last year was pretty poor on the coverage side so this seems like a push for more eyes

I think thatβs far too ambitious to start.
In the article I mention that it makes the most sense to start with a one off βchampion v championβ match. Rugby isnβt in the position in the Americas where it can host a 6-game competition across huge distances
