Yeah, without a car I’m looking at £200 *on top of* the gig tickets now. It’s extremely depressing.

I’m about 80 miles away. Last train anywhere near me leaves at 10.30 and still leaves me with a £50 taxi at the end of it.
So it’s £100+ for a cheap hotel (usually extra tube travel too and at least a morning off work) or missing the end of the show & a spendy taxi.
Gutting really.

OK but could the maybe have trains that leave after 10.30pm please, so we can actually leave after participating in the nightlife they’re so desperately trying to keep alive?

(Had to stay in London three times now for gigs instead of getting the train home. I’d LOVE to leave!)

I’m extremely lyric focussed with music (to an almost obsessional degree) so cannot listen to music I love while trying to do work or read or engage in conversation. I just end up listening to the lyrics/singing along/saying “Oh my god I LOVE this line, LISTEN….”
