Quotation from Felix Kriedemann, REScop.eu's policy advisor, "Corporate capture of energy communities is like the anti-Robin Hood of the energy transition: corporations take from citizens to keep for themselves."
⚡ Our policy advisor Felix Kriedemann has warned participants at @coopseurope.bsky.social's Cooperative Leadership Forum about the risk of corporate capture of the energy community concept.
🎙️ National governments must take action to prevent public funds from being misused for corporate profit.
📸 What a moment!

Fascism always fails. It is destructive and it is awful and not everyone lives to see the other side, but it always, always fails. It takes work. It takes fighting back. It takes throwing punches. It takes doing whatever it takes to beat it back, to protect those that are most vulnerable from its many attacks. And through it all, it feels impossible that we will win. But we will.
The antidote to doomerism isn’t blind optimism, it’s a strident, rebellious, unflinching belief that we are right, we are righteous, and we will win.

Churchill holding up 4 victory fingers
If anyone tells you campaigning for a shorter working week is a sign we’re all getting softer, ask them what Churchill thought about the 4-day week.
Even he believed technology would "give the working man what he's never had – four days' work and then three days' fun." /
In a world where exploitative billionaires and corporate interests seek to increase their authority over us, it is now more important than ever to support our community and worker-owned businesses, to build solidarity and support networks so that everyone can live fine and free.
