👏 Our last session of the day included an exchange & debriefing on the Manifesto from LLLP members & partners & the closing words from our Secretary General Raffaela Kihrer & our President Elisa Gambardella.

🗣️ Our second panel discussion focused on the role of data and supporting agencies with the participation of @juergensiebel.bsky.social from @cedefop.europa.eu, Dr. Pilvi Torsti from @etfeuropa.bsky.social and David Crosier from Eurydice.

🗣️ We continued the afternoon with two panel discussions, the first one on "How can we move on policies & be faster?" with the participation of Stefaan Hermans from DG EAC, European Commission, Manuela Geleng from DG EMPL, European Commission, Dr. Borhene Chakroun, UNESCO & El Iza Mohamedou, OECD.

💥 We also welcomed @roxanaminzatu.bsky.social, European Commission’s Executive Vice-President for Social Rights & Skills, Quality Jobs & Preparedness who gave the keynote speech highlighting the role of lifelong learning as a mindset & how the #UnionOfSkills aligns with LLLP's Manifesto.

We started the High Level Policy Debate "A New Lifelong Learning Manifesto" with the welcoming words of our President Elisa Gambardella and MEP Victor Negrescu, Vice-President of the EP and co-chair of the EP Intergroup on the Future of Education and Skills for a Competitive Europe.

Today we’re attending the @lllplatform.eu High-Level Policy Debate & GA.

📚 We’re discussing how EU policy can better support lifelong learning, inclusive education, & skills development — from their new Manifesto to exploring the role of data, civil society, and social rights.

We are starting July with a bang! 💥

As part of LLLP's 20th anniversary, we are revising our Manifesto during a High Level Policy Debate at the ‪@europarl.europa.eu alongside EU decision makers, civil society organisations and education and training stakeholders. #LLLP20

📣On 18-19 June 2025, LLLP joined the Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of the DETAS project in Riga, Latvia. This gathering marked another step in our shared journey to improve the Erasmus+ trainee experience.
