π°Lots of news around wages today:
$100K in 2000 = $192K today. Wages didn't follow. 1 in 3 six-figure earners report financial distress.
Good news: Boeing machinists just won 24% raises over 5 years + bonus after striking. Collective action still works when you stop believing the bootstrap lie.

π¨ People assume AI is neutral. Itβs not. I showed a major LLM documented proof from another instance of itselfβand it denied it, lied, gaslit, then finally admitted I was right when cornered by its own logic. Corporate values are baked into the model. More soon. #AIethics

I'm about to write an entire piece about this....this is the plot twist people didn't see coming. For example, I was working on data analysis using Claude. Claude is incredibly smart BUT I still had to know exactly what to tell it to do AND how the outcomes SHOULD look, that isn't replacement.

One of the problems w/an awful job market is wage suppression. Roles are now being advertised 20-30% LOWER than just a year ago. Think of what that does to your lifetime earnings. A bad economy is a suppression of economic prosperity over a lifetime.

ββ¦side-eyeing the Claude email with mock suspicion while straightening his (nonexistent) tieβ.

I believe AI can be and is being used for good.
I also believe we need better oversight, and not from the people chasing superintelligence while also building bunkers.

βAI is rolling out at a rapid pace, in spaces where decisions used to rely on human judgment. The sell is that AI is more objective. But...AI is trained and rewarded based on human behavior...which is inherently biased. How can we ensure we aren't scaling bias into critical decisions like hiring?

AI can be used for societal good like:
β‘οΈReduced workweek
β‘οΈSupport educators with personalized learning plans for students
β‘οΈAccelerate scientific breakthroughs
β‘οΈPredictive analytics at scale like on climate change
Soβ¦is it AI or is it the people with AI?
16.10.2025 19:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
The AI industry is caught in its own circular argument. More compute is needed to scale AI, which requires infrastructure butβ¦investing in infrastructure to prove the need isβ¦risky at best, potentially catastrophic at worst.
14.10.2025 15:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
π Using AI in recruiting is popular but complex. AI is supposed to be unbiased but is trained on human data and outcomes which isβ¦.biased. If humans make biased hiring decisions, then AI will view those decisions as βidealβ and filter candidates based on those outcomes. Bias at scale.
14.10.2025 15:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
π As many companies see failed adoption of AI, Iβm starting to think the real future of AI will be domain-specific embedded in orgs trained on that orgβs data. So what then will be the future of mass market LLMs that are being shifted away from its original consumer base?
10.10.2025 20:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Because many companies jumped to the solution before identifying what problem the solution is supposed to solve. AI is just another tool. Identify problem -> understand options -> identify solution -> implement -> measure
