Procurement could decide whether AI succeeds or fails in government "I like to say you ... can't move too slow so that you're missing out on things, but you can't move too fast so that you're not ready," said Kathrin Frauscher.

"AI is evolving at a speed that we haven’t seen often before.... Procurement processes need to be flexible so you can get what you need, and you don't get stuck with something from two or three years ago as technology changes."
