Very excited about this new episode where we talk about FEES with Prof. Heather Starmer! We explore the sometimes overlooked aspects of FEES preparation, consider how FEES & VFS can complement each other rather than compete, and discuss common interpretation challenges✨

Do we all mean the same when talking about dysphagia? Surprisingly, there is still no agreed definition 😱
Listen to Prof. Debra Suiter, Prof. Giselle Carnaby & Dr.
Martin Brodsky, who are working to establish a definition of dysphagia.
✨Wishing you all a wonderful holiday✨

‘Without the Data You’re Not Going to Know If It’s Important or Not’: A Mixed Methods Study on What Dysphagia Intervention Outcomes are Important to People with Parkinson’s Disease and Family Members
I'm delighted to share our study on what people with #Parkinson's disease & family members consider important to measure in #dysphagia interventions.
Key message: penetration/aspiration is really important, but fear of choking may be overlooked in current research studies.
