Is it known whether Eric Wetherell had any assistance with the electronic music parts of the soundtrack? I don’t mean to imply that he couldn’t have coped on his own, but his oeuvre isn’t otherwise known for having used synthesisers, I believe, and sometimes in such cases a helping hand is hired!

You thrilled to the soundtrack of ‘Sky’ back in Phantom Circuit #33 (2010—so ahead of the pack! 🤣), and now, just 15 years later, you can buy it! 😜 Seriously though: well done to @btlabel.bsky.social on putting this release together. An eerie score for a classic piece of vintage weird television.

MRI today. I heard the most intense, but primitive electronic music. As I lie there, I imagined what certain bits might be if they had some drums and guitar. The bass was just fine. Heard bits that could have been Neu!, Can, and all sorts - even a bit of Faust (a bit!). Wish I could have taped it.

Am I bad for wanting a Yamaha TQ5 (1988) almost entirely because of its looks? It also sounds solid - a prosumer version of their DX synths w/ FX & easier programming. But mostly I wanna look at it in my rig every day.
