I literally have over a years worth of DnD session recordings that I need to edit but I have like zero motivation to do it.

Anyone else have trouble with motivating yourself for a monster task that needs to be consistent? How do you do it.

There’s something so pure and humbling about the level of fear you have when making attempts to further your career. That feeling of having to battle against the sense of anxiety that rattles your confidence reminds you to believe in yourself and I love it

Realistically using creators to advertise your game when it’s not in their niche is destined to fail and a waste of dollars. That’s another situation that makes early access games flash in the pans and it feels very predatory imo

The only time I can see this being needed is for funding purposes to continue programming. Which would be fine but there needs to be some sort of insurance for users to make sure their investments are well spent. Also dear god please don’t put advertising as a 90% take of company finances.

I don’t think indie games should EVER go into “early access”. Early access games imo are becoming cheap cash-grabs that indie developers are relying on with flash in the pan games. Do alpha and beta tests absolutely, but please don’t ask for payment for an unfinished game.
