Not all small businesses could pass those on, like us. We couldn't raise our prices for most of our boards, as the POs are based on long-term quantity orders shipped over time. We ate those costs. Only new projects with prototype production runs were responsible for covering any new tariff costs.

This is the truth. Small biz and consumers are only trailing along. This was all about giving money back to the corporate donors, with a "Don't touch our money, Donny" warning.

Remember, we the biz owners paid these tariffs. I have a separate Cost of Goods Sold line item in my chart of accounts where I put big tariff bills, like from FedEx. The tariffs on electronic parts from like DigiKey or Mouser are on every invoice. I know my numbers.
