....I guarantee you the amount of money to get those spaces back and relocate employees to those spaces, not to mention the increased salary those employees will be paid due to a change to a higher locality pay will far exceed the money we were saving by reducing our footprint under telework.

These simple-minded people slurping up bullshit by the ladle-full and calling it a "win" for the people. 🙄 The relinquishment of buildings by my relatively small agency (13,000 employees) due to telework has been saving us $50 MILLION PER YEAR.

So far I still have my job. 1/5th of my coworkers in my office were sent home already with very vague fates, which seem to change daily. Telework is obviously also vague but not looking good.
The coworker's positions existed long before Biden & have mostly been civil servants for a very long time.
