The truth is they can create nothing. They are good for nothing. I am glad some of them are funding the arts, but we should be aware that on a whim, they can pour their resources into breaking democracy. As Bezos has repeatedly done. We live on their mercy.

The world would be better without them.

And this goes for The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which has Harvey Weinstein's name all over it. Just about every other piece of large-scale, high production art has a pervert rich white man's finger in the pie. The world is full of beauty and that beauty is sometimes mingled with horror.

I wouldn't piss on Jeff Bezos if he was on fire. And if he was standing in front of me, I'd punch him in the dick and steal his wallet. Which is all he was ever good for, anyway.

Every time I praise a series I like, it's in spite of the weirdo freaks who threw money at it. Not because of them.
