Still getting back into the swing of things. It's taking more time than I'd hoped, but that's the way things go. Just dropping this here as I'm doing something in #sydney that's pretty exciting to me.

Since my relationship ended, things have been down and up. Writing has become harder, and emotionally, the last few weeks have been really rough.

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to hold a piglet, and it was a wonderful moment. It's a small thing, but it's a big thing.

Deftones are aggressively straight.

More seriously, there is bearblog, and I'm also eyeing off ghost.org. Not sure if moving myself, or keep on refusing to cede space to Nazis.

Do I follow? The answer is... goddamnit how can you do this to me?

There's two bits of writing I'm forcing myself to finish at the moment, only because the timing is right for them. For some reason, I can still draw and work on music, but working on words: I don't have it in me in the moment.

Culture Eater is currently on hiatus. That might change soon, depending on what happens over the next week. However, since March, the inclination to write and transcribe hasn't been there, and I don't have much energy to edit either.

Normally I don't reshare work I've already shared, but recently my life was upended. Was dumped whilst facing unemployment, and now also facing homelessness.

I think as a form of narrative flow and shift, as a demarcation point, they can be interesting. It really depends on use and application.

If people like seeing it because that's what the character does, then more power to them. For me it can get tiring that, but I'm the "do things with it" type.
