I’m completely against the ball room and hate Trump but the two do not look anything alike if that’s the implication in this post?

I’ve started collecting transit passes as I travel to different cities for a cheap souvenir.

lol what does this nonsense comment have to do with staying in the Catholic church which openly treats LGBTQ+ people as second class citizens?

What’s crazy is some in the LGBTQ+ community will celebrate this as progress. It’s still shocking to me that anyone who is in the community would want to be a member of this creepy social club.

It’s also a major problem in the winter since the homeowner is also responsible for shoveling and salting the sidewalks so it’s often not done if the homeowner is physically unable or just unwilling.

That’s actually the norm at least in Pennsylvania. I never thought it made any sense. The homeowner can also liable if someone gets hurt because of the sidewalk even though it’s not their property and most people don’t make enough money to properly maintain them.

Elizabeth Warren on people who say Dems needs to tone down their rhetoric: "Oh, please. Why don't you start with the president of the United States? And every ugly meme he's posted and every ugly word."

What about the school shooting victims today? It’s gross to see people more concerned about this guy than the kids.

And now we sit back and watch Republicans ignore the school shooting today while loudly mourning Charlie Kirk.

Liberal politicians if you are so disturbed just pretend Charlie Kirk was a Palestinian child and you’ll get over it in no time

We have a bit of a natural experiment here. Compare the tone, quantity and duration of Charlie Kirk coverage with that of the two Dem lawmakers gunned down in their homes in Minnesota 6 months ago. May be revealing.

Let’s make one thing clear from the start: Charlie Kirk was the victim of a shooting in a country where he, along with other right-wing extremist influencers, have been inciting violence for years. β€” Kirk is neither a martyr nor a hero, he is a cause.

Also pedestrian safety. Show that drivers can follow the laws of the road to protect pedestrians and other drivers before any more money can be allocated.

And PRT service? Does this mean the governor is using this money for PRT as well? His press conference didn’t address PRR.

Transit talks aside, #YNWA

08.09.2025 19:51 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I guess I have mixed feelings. It’s a total surrender to the politics of the senate getting its way but taking a full salary and just not showing up for work which also potentially jeopardizes future funding negotiations. It’s setting us up for potential future transit disasters and even injury also

08.09.2025 19:46 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

It’s wild how they are trying to spin this as a win when it’s a total surrender to Senate Republicans.

@governor.pa.gov waves the white flag 🏳️ and surrenders to Senate Republicans on transit funding, sacrificing the future of our transit.

08.09.2025 19:30 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I didn’t say that. Stealing from the future is hardly β€œgood stuff” though. Waiving the white flag and surrendering to drunk Kim Ward and her cronies also sets a horrible precedent that will be repeated now.

08.09.2025 19:24 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

β€œGood stuff” isn’t what I’d call sacrificing the future of public transit for short term necessity. This sets a precedent that not showing up for work is the quick way for republicans to get whatever they want. Maybe he had no choice but it’s certainly anything but good stuff…
