This indictment of Letitia James is not a prosecution; it is a politically-motivated persecution. Donald Trump is using a weaponized Department of Justice to punish a public servant who dared to hold him accountable. This sham proceeding is a direct assault on the Rule of Law.

The cruelty has always been the point—and they will inflict it on anyone who stands in the way of their perverse vision for this country. Completely sickening.

2 people dead and 8 wounded in a shooting and fire at a Michigan church, police say - The Boston Globe
After the suspect left the church, two officers pursued him and “engaged in gunfire,” officials said. The man was killed.
Another awful shooting, this time in Grand Blanc, Michigan. My heart is with the victims and their families.
Every single American should be able to worship freely without having to worry about their safety.
Hate and violence have no place in this country.

Global warming caused by humans is an observed fact. Yes, science still needs to learn more, but it's no more in overall doubt than the theory of gravity. And it's bad. Willful ignorance, enforced by those who choose to deny science, is an existential threat to our civilization.

If you, like me, are the parent of a neuro-atypical child dreading this autism press conference, please remember: These are the people hurting our kids. Not us. They are the ones stigmatizing and pathologizing them. They are the ones peddling untested science. And we should be very, very angry.

Man, I’m so glad I don’t have to explain to my kids why they can’t watch Frozen anymore.
And, you know, for having at least one institution finally stand up against government censorship. Thank you, Disney/ABC!

Censoring comedians is a dangerous attack on free speech but so is censoring science on climate and vaccines - and the consequences are going to get a lot of us killed.

Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel
Trump’s most brazen attack on free speech yet.
After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

Car repairs up 15%. Furniture up 9%. Electricity up 6%. Coffee up 20%.
Now Republicans say they will shut down the government unless their law to increase many health insurance premiums by 75% goes into effect.
They are ruining people’s lives with these cost hikes.

Subsidies for Fossil Fuel Firms Have Doubled Since 2017, Now $35 Billion a Year
Oil and gas companies could gobble up billions in tax credits if lawmakers don’t act, warn the authors of a new report.
This is just the direct subsidy. It’s also an economic subsidy if you’re allowed to pollute for free. That subsidy of fossil fuel has hit $700 billion a year. Every year. It’s the biggest subsidy in world history.

Half of new EU city buses were zero-emission in 2024
Zero-emission sales to reach 100% by 2027 if growth rate continues
"Nearly half (49%) of all new EU city buses were zero-emission (ZE) in 2024, making city buses one of the early success stories of the European Green Deal."
Ever heard of that before?

We need gun reform to prevent horrible people who I disagree with on literally everything from getting shot. Because no one in America should fear going to school, or to church, or the a nightclub, or to the movies, or to spew hateful crap on a campus because they might get shot.

Republicans will blame immigrants for everything, but stay silent on white supremacists, Jan 6th rioters, and school shootings. If y’all really cared as much as you claim you do, you’d call out all threats to our communities—not just the ones that fit your agenda.

We’ve been taking COTA a lot more since the baby was born (places we would have biked to). It’s been working pretty well for us but I’ve got to say, major lines coming every hour on weekends is the pits. Parsons needs better service than two buses an hour (that are often bunched together).

How the U.S. Just Handed the Renewable Future to China
When I say that Republicans sold out our kids’ future, this is a big part of what I’m talking about. We have to stop the damage in 2026, win a trifecta in 2028, and then move as fast as we can to turn the ship around in 2029.

The last 3 years have been the hottest in around 125,000 years.
CO2 levels are their highest in MILLIONS of years.
But most people have no idea this is happening, let alone what it means for our kids’ futures.
Our politics & media have failed our children. We should be furious.

I think we can officially say that the Veo scooters are a huge miss. There are almost no bikes, the service is more expensive esp for low income folks, and the lack of stations makes it less predictable. #Columbus should never have gotten rid of CoGo bike share. I’m so frustrated and disappointed.
